Part of the Cobra family, Sea Kraits are extremely venomous . Fortunately for humans though they have small fangs and are usually quite docile. They are found on New Guinea and on many pacific Islands from India to South East Asia.
They eat mainly Eels that they find in coral reefs. Females lay up to 18 eggs on land in the summer and they grow usually about 1 metre although some have been known to get up to 1,4 metres.
