The Inland Taipan or Fierce snake comes from Australia and is the most venomous land snake. It has potently neurotoxic venom that can potentially kill a human in 45 minutes. Its venom is between 200 and 400 times stronger than most rattlesnakes and 50 times stronger than a cobra.
the Inland Taipan can reach a length of 2,5 metres (8 ft) but the average is usually around 1,8 metres (6 ft). the upper surface of the snake can vary from a dark brown to a light straw colour. The Female Taipan lays between 12 and 20 eggs.
