SCROLL DOWN FOR VIDEO OF DEATH ADDERS
Unlike other venomous snakes the Death Adders venom is only Neurotoxic, potently so. A bite from a Death Adder causes paralysis, while very minor at first it can cause complete respiratory shutdown in as little as six hours.
These snakes lie hidden under leaves and other substratres and dangle the end of their tails as bait in front of their faces. They are native to Australia and New Guinea.
