The black tiger snake is considered one of the ten most dangerous snakes in the world, it defends itself by striking repeatedly and accurately. It comes from West Australia, South Australia and the Bass strait islands in areas where there is coastal rainfall. Its venom is a potent Neurotoxic and is considered to be deadly if left untreated.
Black tiger snakes eat Mutton birds, frogs, fish, other snakes and even sometimes members of their own species. Females give birth to between 20 and 30 live young in the summer.
