General: Sinaloan Milksnakes are docile snakes that typically reach a size of around 4 feet. these snakes can live up to 20 years in captivity. They are found in the Sinaloa and Sonoran regions of mexico all the way up into Chihuahua.
Enclosure: Sinaloan milksnakes prefer a terrarium or tank at least as long as they are and as deep as half their body length. The cage should be escape proof and equipped with a hide and a large water bowl for soaking and drinking.
Substrate: Newspaper, aspen shavings, corn cob, sisal, or even astroturf can be used as a substrate for your sinaloan milksnake.
Temperature & Humidity: A daytime ambient temperature of about 77 degrees F with a hot spot of about 86 degrees F is I deal for your Sinaloan milksnake. A nightime drop to between 68 and 73 degrees F is required. A moderate humidity of around 50% is needed.
Feeding: Feed your Sinaloan Milksnake a diet of 1 mouse every 7-10 days.
Cleaning: Clean and disinfect enclosure at least once a month. Remove faeces as it appears and fresh water must always be available.
